Remember Them - Soldier of the Month

In the last 150 years some 400,000 men have served in the Royal Regiment of Wales and its former regiments as regular, war-time conscripted, militia, national service, territorial and volunteer soldiers.

In these pages we aim to highlight the service and lives of just a few of these men whose interesting stories should be told. Often these men showed great courage and steadiness in adversity, but may never have been singled out for any special recognition and reward. May they continue to give us inspiration and encouragement. We should always remember them and their courageous deeds.

If you feel you have a story about one of the Regiment's soldiers, contact the webmaster@rrw.org.uk We would be pleased to hear from you.
