The Journal of The Royal Regiment of Wales

The Regimental Journal, The Men of Harlech, is edited by Colonel JM Grundy and is published in May and November each year. The first edition of the journal for the newly formed Royal Regiment of Wales appeared in November 1969. The Editor welcomes articles and correspondence relating to the Regiment, the former Regiments and its soldiers. For contact details see Regimental Headquarters.

The South Wales Borderers and Monmouthshire Regiment

The Journal of the South Wales Borderers, edited by Lieutenant Colonel GC Thomas DSO OBE, was first published in November 1931. This journal superceded an annual newsletter published between 1926 and 1930. The final edition was No. 75, published in March 1969. Viewing copies are held at the Brecon Museum.

The Welch Regiment

Edition 1 of The Men of Harlech, edited by Captains R Vyvyan and A Newnham Davis of the 2nd Battalion The Welch Regiment, was published in India in March 1893. This was titled 'A newspaper for the men of 2nd Battalion', but this was changed for the second edition to 'The Welch Regiment'. The journal was not published during WW1. The final edition, No. 148, was published in May 1969. Viewing copies are held at the Cardiff Museum.
