The Welch Regiment Museum was re-established in 1978 at Cardiff Castle. The Collection comprises artefacts obtained from worldwide sources that reflect the history and character of a regiment that has existed for over 250 years.

There is an excellent collection of badges covering all periods of the Regiment, the local militias and the volunteer unit's history. The Museum has extensive archive material, which is available to the serious researcher by appointment.
